The Facilities Program Manager provides strategic planning and direction that ensures the continual review of building plans and employee headcounts to provide direction and improvements to all building. Evaluates and adjusts/alters architectural plans to accommodate company growth. Hands-on involvement with projects; seeing the job through planning to completion while utilizing a strong sense of ownership and pride in the result. Supervises architects, engineers, and contractors for facilities renovation projects involving all building related arrangements, production floor and laboratory arrangement, etc.\nResponsibilities:\nKey Accountabilities\nResponsible for the evaluation of buildings ensuring compliance to all building codes, rules, and regulations.\nProactively anticipates and gathers customer needs including senior leadership and effectively communicates and/or presents to all levels within the organization (as appropriate) the status of space utilization, projects, issues, and proposals.\nLead the company’s long range real estate and space forecasts.\nContribute to the development of strategic Facility Master Plans to facilitate capital planning requirements.\nOwn and update Facilities plans, maps, and associated drawings.\nCreate 3D modeling of all facilities floor plans\nCoordinates space planning and architecture with engineering firms.\nFacilitates work with outside contractors and vendors by soliciting and negotiating bids, negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits, and licenses.\nPositive representative of the company with key city and state council members, as well service providers, neighboring businesses, and residents.\nOversees outside contractors during construction or repair of facilities.\nAssists Facilities Manager in the creation of budgets, create and manage Operating and Capital budgets.\nOther duties as assigned.\nNetworking/Key Relationships\nSenior leadership team\nDepartment leadership/business partners\nEngineering consultants\nCity and State Inspectors and Officials\nQualifications:\nKnowledge & Experience for the position:\nMaster’s degree in architecture with 10 years of experience in the field preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of all building codes, rules and regulations.\nExperience with construction work preferred.\nSkills & Capabilities:\nDemonstrated ability to direct and supervise contracted vendors as well as operations staff.\nFamiliarity with OSHA guidelines, FDA requirements, and working knowledge of Building Codes.\nProficient computer skills to include CAD, REVIT, Microsoft applications.
