Previous experience in water treatment is a plus.\nWhat Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…\nRead and evaluate customer specifications, code, and other industry standards.\nCreate plans, designs, and customer solutions for assigned products and projects.\nPartner with sales, customers, and engineering to gain a better understanding of system requirements and their impact on system design and proposed solutions.\nEvaluateprocess flow diagrams (PFD’s) and/or process instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).\nWork closely with CAD designers to prepare and coordinate general arrangement, submittal, and final design fabrication/assembly drawings.\nDevelop and maintain bills of materials (BOM) for projects, specifying appropriate components.\nSupport on-site start-up and commissioning of projects as needed.\nWork with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams meet customer and engineering requirements for fabrication, assembly, and shipping.\nYour Education Should Be…\nBS degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar.\nYour Physical Work Environment Will Require…\nWork from home.\nYour Professional Experience Should Be…\nMinimum 2-5 years of relevant engineering experience.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in the engineering, design, fabrication or commissioning of mechanical equipment used in water treatment, pressure vessel, boiler, or oil and gas industries\nExperience with manufacturing facilities.\nDemonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple tasks.\nUnderstanding of process diagrams, fluid flow in pipes, pump selection.\nUnderstanding of compressed gases, and their properties a plus.\nMust be proficient with Microsoft Office: esp.
