The Project Manager will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contractors, engage with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects meet technical, regulatory, and operational requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts from initiation through closeout.\nLead and coordinate cross-functional project teams including mechanical engineers, site supervisors, contractors and subcontractors for HVAC, process piping and plumbing scopes.\nManage procurement and subcontractor selection, contracts, scope control, and lead regular performance reviews.\nOversee construction activities to ensure work complies with design documents, codes, standards and project specifications; perform regular site inspections and progress assessments.\nDrive commissioning and turnover activities for mechanical systems, ensuring operational readiness and documentation completeness.\nMonitor project financial performance, manage change orders, mitigate cost overruns and identify value engineering opportunities.\nIdentify, assess and mitigate project risks; implement corrective actions and contingency plans to maintain schedule and budget.\nServe as the primary client and stakeholder contact for project status, technical decisions, and issue resolution; prepare and present regular progress reports.\nEnforce safety, quality and environmental standards on site; lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety programs.\nMaintain thorough project documentation including submittals, RFIs, permits, test records and as-built information; manage closeout and lessons learned.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by capturing best practices, process improvements and performance metrics.\n\nQualifications\n\n7+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction, with at least 3 years managing data center projects or other mission-critical facilities.\nDemonstrated technical knowledge of HVAC systems, process piping, plumbing and mechanical system installation and commissioning.\nProven experience managing construction contracts, subcontractors, procurement and change management.\nFamiliarity with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local building codes) and strong quality control practices.\nProficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6 or similar), and familiarity with CAD/BIM processes.\nStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead diverse teams and make decisions under pressure.\nSolid financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Construction Management certification or equivalent is a plus.\nOSHA 30, Safety certifications, and willingness to travel to job sites as required.\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
