Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nAttend training regarding applicable equipment\nPerform additional duties as needed\nAssist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers\nMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition\nOperate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines\nParticipates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture\nCrosstrain on multiple machines\nOperate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders, etc.\nWhat You'll Need\nMust be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather\nAble and willing to cross train as required\nFollow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations\nPossess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits\nAbility to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues\nAbility to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision\nAble to work overtime as business requires\nMust be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and steps, work outside under all weather conditions when needed\nMust be able to read technical documents and service manuals\nPossess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field\nExcellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role\nMinimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required\nMust be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations\nMust possess work ethic and ability to be punctual\nStand for long periods of time\nYour Education\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred\n\nWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
