Tier 1 Logistics Customer Service Representative

Position Summary:The Tier 1 Logistics Customer Service Representative ensures all customer requirements are met by coordinating shipments, scheduling pickups and deliveries, conducting inventory inquiries, and supporting daily order needs. The role also works with trucking partners to plan shipments and updates inventory in company and customer systems following depletion procedures.Schedule: 7:00am-7:00pm 2-2-3 Rotating CyclePrimary ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with team members and supervisors to receive direction and coordinate tasksManage incoming calls and customer emails, ensuring timely responsesMaintain a clean and organized workspaceUse the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support daily operationsCoordinate shipments to meet customer requirementsAccurately and promptly enter order information into the systemNotify customers of any shipment or scheduling issuesFollow standard procedures for shipping and inventory managementConsult with customers on shipping needs and recommend appropriate solutionsAssist with and follow up on Advance Shipping Notifications (ASN)Work with the warehouse team to create and fulfill ordersPrepare Bills of Lading detailing product type, quantity, and destinationUtilize customer portals to update shipping and operational dataCreate orders for warehouse processingCoordinate with carriers for scheduling and shipment updatesPerform other duties as assigned Knowledge & Skills RequirementsAble to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong communication skillsBasic math and counting abilitySelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyBasic computer skills, including email and ExcelAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong multitasking abilitiesHigh school diploma or GED required Physical DemandsManage multiple tasks and handle challenging situations calmlyPrimarily office-based, with extended periods of sittingAbility to sit for long durationsLift office materials up to 25 lbs occasionallyPerform occasional climbing, crouching, or kneelingMust be able to remain in the work environment throughout the day Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with indoor conditionsClose proximity to coworkersExposure to machinery and stored goodsModerate to high noise levels Equal Employment Opportunity
