Assembler - Shift 2
Become a Key Player as an Assembler - Shift 2You will assemble and test mechanical products to meet quality and on-time delivery goals, supporting production and lean initiatives. You will work onsite on second shift (3:30pm - 12:00am, Mon–Fri) after completing an initial training period on first shift (approximately two months). You will collaborate with production supervisors, quality, and test teams to ensure conformity to specifications.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamAccurately and efficiently assemble and test products using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, assembly fixtures, and inspection equipmentRecord test results on data forms and operate basic electrical equipment and flow metersInterpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directivesProduce and inspect assemblies to meet product and industry standards; perform touch-up or full surface painting and finish parts when requiredFollow SOPs, build travelers, and documented assembly instructions while maintaining a FOD-free work areaParticipate in lean initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing suggestionsEnsure equipment calibration is maintained per schedule and observe all safety rulesHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh school diploma or equivalentHands-on experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar production role, with experience using hand and power toolsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints and follow work instructions/SOPsExperience with precision measurements and documenting torque specificationsComfortable performing repetitive tasks with high accuracy and standing for most of the shiftAble to lift up to 25 lbs and open to overtime or weekend shifts if neededWillingness to train on first shift for at least two months before transitioning to second shiftHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience in aerospace, electromechanical, automotive, or medical device assembliesExperience with touch-up or full-surface painting and mixing/cleaning partsExposure to ISO-certified or regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with LEAN manufacturing principlesPay Range$19.25 - $20.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
