This position offers the opportunity to support innovative projects while improving data systems, automation, and technical workflows.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevOps & Technical Enablement\n\nIdentify technology needs, recommend solutions, and support adoption of best practices.\nAdminister and maintain DevOps platforms that support technical and analytical applications.\nAssist in the development, maintenance, documentation, and enhancement of software tools, code libraries, and technical workflows.\nImprove the reliability, usability, and consistency of shared technical resources.\nDevelop reusable solutions that support data analysis, visualization, modeling, and computational initiatives.\n\nData & Project Support\n\nBuild and maintain automated infrastructure supporting large-scale data processing and analysis.\nSupport the development and optimization of complex models and computational workflows.\nImprove data input/output efficiency and overall system performance.\nCreate tools and processes that help communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nEnsure reliability and performance of data systems supporting high-volume analysis and reporting.\n\nCollaboration, Security & Compliance\n\nPartner with software engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.\nImplement DevOps best practices around automation, monitoring, deployment, and system reliability.\nIntegrate security controls and compliance considerations into development pipelines and cloud environments.\nSupport governance, documentation, and operational standards for infrastructure and data management.\n\nQualifications\n\nRequired\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Physical Sciences, or a related field.\n3-7 years of professional experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, software engineering, scientific computing, or a related discipline.\nExperience with Python and/or R, including libraries such as:\nNumPy\nPandas\nMatplotlib\nTidyverse\nExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.\nStrong understanding of Linux/Unix environments.\nExperience with Git-based version control and modern software development practices.\nFamiliarity with APIs, automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and reproducible workflows.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience supporting large-scale data analysis, modeling, or analytics initiatives.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis techniques and scientific computing methodologies.\nExperience with large datasets and automated reporting workflows.\nFamiliarity with geospatial technologies such as ArcGIS.\nExperience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments.\nTechnical documentation and report-writing experience.\n\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
