This role combines hands-on cloud platform engineering with security architecture, automation, and governance responsibilities. The position works across cloud engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud solutions while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and industry frameworks.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nCloud Security Architecture & Engineering\r\nDesign and implement secure architectures across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms\r\nPerform security reviews of cloud infrastructure, applications, and configurations\r\nEnsure alignment with enterprise security standards and industry best practices\r\nDevelop and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions\r\nWIZ Platform & Cloud Automation\r\nUtilize the WIZ Cloud Security Platform to monitor cloud posture and detect risks\r\nDevelop automation workflows for risk remediation and response\r\nBuild and maintain Azure automation scripts for cloud security operations\r\nSupport automated remediation using cloud-native tools and scripting\r\nCloud Security Operations & Governance\r\nConduct cloud security assessments, gap analyses, and risk evaluations\r\nEnsure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS benchmarks, and internal standards\r\nCollaborate with governance and risk teams to define IAM policies and security controls\r\nSupport development and enforcement of cloud governance practices\r\nDevOps & Platform Security Integration\r\nPartner with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines\r\nImplement Infrastructure-as-Code security and container security practices\r\nEnsure secure development lifecycle practices across cloud deployments\r\nSupport container and platform security initiatives\r\nIncident Response & Threat Mitigation\r\nLead and support cloud incident response and investigation activities\r\nIdentify and remediate cloud misconfigurations, IAM risks, and vulnerabilities\r\nConduct tabletop exercises and support security readiness initiatives\r\nStrengthen detection and response capabilities within cloud environments\r\nCloud Infrastructure & Identity Security\r\nSupport and secure Azure identity, access management, and privileged accounts\r\nEnsure alignment with Zero Trust architecture principles\r\nSupport Microsoft 365 security and broader identity platform integration\r\nImplement secure access controls and authentication frameworks\r\nContinuous Improvement & Leadership\r\nServe as a subject matter expert in cloud security and emerging threats\r\nIdentify opportunities for cost, performance, and operational improvements\r\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development\r\nDrive continuous improvement in cloud security posture and operational practices\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience\r\n10 or more years of experience in cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure\r\nStrong hands-on experience securing Azure, AWS, and GCP environments\r\nMandatory experience with the WIZ Cloud Security Platform\r\nStrong experience with Azure scripting and automation\r\nExperience with cloud security posture management and container security\r\nStrong understanding of cloud governance frameworks and compliance standards\r\nExperience securing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code environments\r\nExperience with IAM, privileged access management, and identity security\r\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Intune, and Azure identity services\r\nStrong understanding of cloud networking, incident response, and secure configurations\r\nKnowledge of frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience with Kubernetes and container
