Lead Carpenter

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter our construction team in executing various carpentry projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques and safety regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing projects from start to finish while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines. An Experienced Lead Carpenter with 20 years of verifiable experience from Frame to finish. References will be required. Must have Reliable transportation and maintain a clean license. Must posses own tools. The successful candidate must be able to read plans , coordinate and run a successful team from Frame to Finish. Salary will be based on experience. This is a long term position position for a career driven applicant. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the carpentry crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals. Train and mentor team members in carpentry techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage. Perform quality control checks on all work completed by the team to maintain high standards. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the construction process and implement effective solutions. Skills Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for accurate project execution. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work.
