We are looking for an experienced Transportation / Traffic Project Manager who brings both technical depth and leadership to public-sector infrastructure work.This is not a role for generalist project managers. Our Project Managers are practicing transportation professionals who understand how projects move-from early coordination and analysis through design, review, and delivery. This position is especially well-suited for individuals who have worked within or alongside DOTs, municipalities, or public agencies and are ready to lead with confidence and credibility.Sebago is a firm where technical expertise is respected and collaboration is expected. As an employee-owned company, the quality of the work-and how we treat one another-matters.In the RoleLead and manage transportation and traffic engineering projects from initiation through closeoutCoordinate across multidisciplinary teams including engineers, surveyors, CAD designers, landscape architects, and construction professionalsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plansMonitor project performance and proactively manage risks and resourcesServe as primary client liaison with municipalities, DOT, and other agencies-manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure satisfactionEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulationsReview and approve traffic studies, technical documents, design plans, and reportsMentor junior staff and foster a collaborative, learning-focused team environmentSupport business development efforts including proposals, presentations, and scoping of transportation projectsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering5-8 years of professional experienceExperience in project management and traffic/transportation engineering (traffic preferred)Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredProficiency with engineering software such as MicroStation and AutoCADExperience working with state or federal transportation authorities is a plus
