Operate CNC cells, inspect parts, process through cleaning systems, and maintain accurate records while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Tend automated CNC machine production cellLoad and unload parts using predetermined procedures using torque toolsInteract with robotic cell software to assure maximum uptimeComplete required dimensional inspections using hand tools (micrometer, caliper bore gage) and automated CMMPerform visual inspection of components after machiningProcess parts though semi-automated ultrasonic cleaning system prior to assemblyPerform mechanical assembly in accordance with specified procedures in a cleanroom workspaceRead and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresUse basic hand and power tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc. Keep records of production quantities and timeReport on issues, malfunction or defective partsPrepare for work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, tools, and materialsAssemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassembliesMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededRequirementsSkills and Competencies:Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure.Experience with mechanical assembly is preferredBasic/Intermediate computer skillsAbility to read and follow work instructions in EnglishQualifications:Education: High school diploma or GEDExperience and/or Training: 6 months of experience in a related industry preferred
