Think part litigation expert, part operations strategist, part legal-world problem solver.The assignment involves evaluating how cases move through the firm, how work is assigned, how deadlines are managed, and whether the technology already in place is being fully utilized. Along the way, immediate improvements can be implemented where appropriate, with a longer-term roadmap for future enhancements.What You'll Be DoingAssess litigation workflows from intake through trialEvaluate attorney, paralegal, and support staff utilizationIdentify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and missed opportunitiesReview technology platforms and workflow toolsRecommend smarter delegation and staffing modelsImprove consistency, communication, and accountabilityDeliver practical recommendations that can actually be implementedWhat Makes Someone Successful?7-10+ years of California litigation paralegal experienceStrong understanding of state and federal litigationPrior supervisory, training, or operations experienceConfidence working directly with attorneys and staff at all levelsDiplomacy, credibility, and excellent judgmentExperience with litigation technology and process improvementExperience with Clio, iManage, LawToolBox, Everlaw, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and related legal technology platforms is highly desirable.If workflow inefficiencies jump off the page, if delegation issues are impossible to ignore, and if improving legal operations sounds like fun rather than work, this could be the perfect short-term assignment.Other titles: Litigation Paralegal; Paralegal Manager; Trial ParalegalWork Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90071
