Electric Distribution Operator I

We are seeking a motivated Operations/System Operator to support service restoration and distribution switching activities within an electrical distribution environment.This role is responsible for monitoring system conditions, responding to outages and emergency situations, coordinating restoration efforts, and ensuring accurate operational reporting.The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, can make sound decisions under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.Candidates should have an understanding of electrical distribution systems, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience in dispatching, utility operations, emergency services, GIS, or customer service is preferred. This position requires availability for a flexible 24/7 shift schedule, including overtime and storm response support.
