Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.\n\nENGINEERING CHANGE COORDINATOR\n\nJOB SUMMARY:\nEngineering Change Coordinator is responsible for coordinate between customer and Android/Avancez on all engineering changes.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nCoordinate between customer and Android/Avancez on all engineering changes.\nMaintain accurate records on all changes and \"break points\".\nCoordinate with the Android/Avancez PC/L Team as to material availability requirements.\nUpon the completion of a change, work towards disposition of obsolete material.\nEstablish \"break points\" depending on material availability and obsolete costs.\nLead regularly scheduled “Engineering Change\" meetings.\nUpdate tooling and engineering documents as requested.\nDevelop reports as necessary for tracking and communicating changes.\nMaintain strong relationships with Android customers and suppliers to ensure accurate data transfers.\nSupport launch activities by arranging and assisting with preproduction builds.\nCreate supporting documentation for launch activities and preproduction builds.\nOrder parts and tooling as needed to support launches.\nSupports all shifts as required.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\n\nCollege Degree preferred.\n2+ years’ experience in automotive industry preferred.\nTRAVEL:\n\nTravel Required: Minimal\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\n\nStrong attention to detail.\nAble to and understands value of obtaining complete and accurate information in order to avoid decision making or results based on inaccurate information, resulting in program delays and unnecessary expenditure of resources.\nAble to make sound management decisions based on information provided.\nExcellent follow through skills and time management.\nAbility to read, analyze, and create various documentation related to tooling and/or engineering.\nAbility to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization and with customers and suppliers.\nAbility to explain new ideas and concepts so others will understand.\nMust have basic PC/L knowledge and understanding of \"record balances\".\nMust be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point).\nHave general knowledge of the manufacturing process.\nAble to lead meetings.\nMust have problem solving skills.\nBENEFITS:\n\nBlue Cross Blue Shield Medical\nDelta Dental\nVSP Vision\n401k Matching\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Time Off\nEmployee Assistance Program\nAdditional Competitive Benefits\nPURPOSE:\nBuilding A Better Everything\n\nWe build a better culture by putting people before profit, leading for purpose, passion and performance, and creating an environment devoted to an exceptional experience for our customers and people.
