You will play a critical role in aligning estimating, operations, project management, VDC, and field leadership to develop execution strategies that support large-scale commercial, industrial, and hyperscale data center projects.This position directly influences how projects are built, before construction even begins.---Key Responsibilities:Lean Construction LeadershipChampion Lean Construction principles across preconstruction and project startupDrive strategies that improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and increase field productivity---Prefabrication Strategy & IntegrationLead prefabrication planning to maximize offsite assembly and improve field productivityWork closely with VDC/BIM, estimating, and prefab teams to identify prefabrication opportunitiesHelp define prefab scope including conduit racks, assemblies, distribution skids, and electrical roomsEnsure prefab strategies align with project schedule, site logistics, and installation sequencingSupport development of repeatable prefab standards and scalable prefab processesImprove labor efficiency, safety, and installation speed through prefabrication planning---Preconstruction & Buyout LeadershipAssist in scope leveling, bid review, and subcontractor selectionEnsure procurement strategies align with execution plans and project timelinesIdentify long-lead equipment risks and procurement priorities---Constructability & Execution PlanningReview drawings, specifications, and BIM models to ensure efficient and constructible installationIdentify execution risks and develop proactive mitigation strategiesDevelop manpower loading plans and sequencing strategies aligned with Lean and prefab initiativesCollaborate with VDC and estimating teams to optimize installation methodsSupport development of logistics plans, material flow, and installation strategies---Operational Readiness & Field TransitionEnsure seamless transition from preconstruction into field executionHelp establish execution standards aligned with company best practicesSupport large-scale project startup and operational readiness---Leadership & CollaborationPartner closely with Executive Leadership, Operations, Estimating, and Project ManagementProvide field-driven expertise during planning and preconstructionMentor Superintendents and field leadershipSupport company-wide initiatives related to Lean Construction and Prefabrication---Qualifications15+ years of electrical construction experience5+ years in Superintendent, General Superintendent, or equivalent leadership roleStrong experience with preconstruction planning and buyoutsDemonstrated experience implementing prefabrication strategiesWorking knowledge of Lean Construction principles Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projectsStrong understanding of construction software (ACC, Procore,etc)Strong understanding of electrical installation methods, sequencing, and constructabilityExperience reviewing drawings, specifications, and BIM modelsPreferred:Experience supporting or working with prefab shopsExperience with large commercial, data center and industrial constructionExperience with pull planning, Last Planner System, or collaborative schedulingExperience working with major general contractors (DPR, Holder, Turner, JE Dunn, etc.)Powered by JazzHR7eMJEbtiKY
