Job Summary\n\nUnder general supervision, this position is responsible for designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging new software and producing significant enhancements to existing software. Conducts intermediate level business process analysis, needs assessments, and participates in design sessions with Architects in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Undertakes moderately complex projects requiring additional specialized knowledge in software design and testing.\n\nII. Essential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nDevelops enterprise-level information technology solutions by analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing new software and by modifying/enhancing existing software applications.\nCoordinate with business analysts and/or users to determine requirements. Performs moderately complex analyses of system requirements and of existing business processes and information systems.\nCollaborate with Architects, Data Scientists, Product Owners, business stakeholders and other digital partners to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions that integrate with technologies such as AWS API\nUtilize AI capabilities in software development and day-to-day job responsibilities.\nSupport and maintain ML engines for pre and post processing logic\nReviews systems under development and related documentation.\nResolves customers’ issues and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.\nParticipates in the development of software using software engineering best practices\nPerforms code reviews and assists in more complex systems planning, scheduling and implementation\nMay work on-call shifts on a rotation basis.\n\nIII. Qualifications\n\nA. Required Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree\nHigh School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant experience.\n3 years of previous experience (in addition to education requirement)\n\nB. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\n\nSoftware development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages: NodeJs, Python or Java\nExperience working on Cloud technologies such as AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, ALB, EC2, Cloud Watch, and API gateways etc\nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization strategies\nKnowledge of Angular\nKnowledge of Databases such as Oracle, and NoSQL databases such as Dynamo DB\nFamiliarity building and using REST APIs\nAbility to build and deploy code in production\nKnowledge of GitHub or GitHub Cloud\nKnowledge of enterprise coding standards\nExperience working on moderately complex cloud-based software projects, web application development, and security technologies\nParticipate in team agile ceremonies and sprints\nBe able to troubleshoot issues using services/resources/platforms/logs\nAwareness of new and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning\nTeam player, Innovative, Responsible, confident, clear in thoughts, collaborative and has good communication skills\nAbility to learn new and emerging technologies.\nAbility to lead a group to consensus, solve problems, and accomplish tasks.\nAbility to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrate flexibility and a willingness to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.\n\nIV.
