Substance Abuse Counselor Trainee (ADT)

Job Summary Tru Luv Management is a Behavioral Health Organization that helps our clients achieve and maintain sobriety through the recovery process. Using evidence-based care, we offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP) services. At Tru Luv, we take a holistic approach to recovery, ensuring our clients are empowered for success. Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, motivated, and reliable ADT counselors to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of addiction treatment methodologies and the delivery of services. Under supervision, the Trainee will directly work with clients, including intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, individual counseling, and group facilitation services. Responsibilities: · Perform intakes, including screenings and assessments for new clients · Conduct individual and group counseling sessions · Provide behavior management support to clients in recovery for relapse prevention · Assist with treatment planning and progress documentation · Submit weekly and monthly reports on client progress · Participate in team meetings and training sessions · Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional ethics Qualifications: · Must hold a valid Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) certification from Maryland BOPC · High school diploma or GED required; college preferred · Experienced in group facilitation and recovery support services · Excellent communication and documentation skills · Ability to maintain confidentiality Why Join Us: · Competitive hourly wages $ 25-$33, commensurate with experience · Supportive supervision and training · Opportunities for growth If you are interested, please email your resume directly to Mr. Johnson at ijohnson_11@yahoo.com, including "ADT Job Opportunity" in the subject line.
