If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator located in Dallas, Texas.Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities.Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWhat a typical day looks like:Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.Stage received material and product in appropriate location.Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safely manner.Performs other related duties, as assigned.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:High School Diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or any related field Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skillsSolid organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP systemSiteFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
