Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated CrossFit Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness, excellent coaching skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire members of all skill levels. As a CrossFit Coach at Versa CrossFit, you will be responsible for leading group classes, providing personalized coaching, and helping members achieve their fitness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach high-energy, safe, and effective CrossFit classes for groups of various skill levels.
Provide individualized feedback and coaching to help members improve their technique and performance.
Create and implement customized workout plans for members, taking into account their fitness goals and abilities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all members during classes and workouts.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment within the gym.
Assist with gym events, competitions, and community-building activities.
Stay current with CrossFit methodologies and continuously improve your coaching skills.
Maintain a clean and organized gym space, ensuring equipment is used correctly and safely.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance the overall member experience.
Qualifications:
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) certification (or willingness to obtain).
Previous experience coaching CrossFit or similar high-intensity group fitness classes.
Strong understanding of CrossFit principles, Olympic lifting, and gymnastics movements.
Ability to adapt coaching style to meet the needs of individuals with varying fitness levels and abilities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge of injury prevention and proper form and technique.
