USCG Boat Captain

Role Description This is a temporary, on-site role for a USCG-certified Boat Captain located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Boat Captain will be responsible for the safe operation and navigation of party boats, ensuring compliance with all U.S. Coast Guard regulations and company policies. Additional duties include managing passenger safety protocols, maintaining boat cleanliness and functionality, and providing excellent customer service to ensure a memorable on-water experience for all guests. Qualifications Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License (minimum OUPV/Six-Pack or higher)Demonstrated boat navigation and docking skills, with experience operating vessels in river environmentsKeen understanding and adherence to maritime safety regulations and emergency response protocolsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and crewAbility to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting for mechanical or operational issuesFlexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as neededPrevious experience captaining party or tour boats is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required
