We invite you to apply to join us and become a part of forging the future of steel in Alabama for generations to come.\n\nOVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:\n\nMonitoring and entering data and transactions, including stock transfers, production, shipments, receipts, and invoices.\nSupporting the design and implementation of OSP within the Company's IT landscape.\nSupporting inventory control activities.\nEntering and maintaining system dispositions.\nIdentifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.\nCoordinating cross-functional projects related to systems and process improvements.\nImproving workflows, controls, reporting, and data accuracy across OSP operations.\n\nACCOUNTABILITIES:\n\nEnsures accurate SAP invoice processing by validating transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting EDI billing integration across internal teams and customers.\nReviews invoices against the purchase order, goods receipt, service entry, and applicable contract terms to confirm accurate three-way matching.\nRecommends the appropriate correction needed to process an invoice, such as updating the purchase order, posting or correcting the goods receipt or service entry, correcting invoice data, requesting a credit memo, or obtaining required approval.\nCreates and maintains annual purchase requisitions for OSP freight in SAP to support ongoing operational and business requirements.\nAssists in the design and implementation of OSP within the Company IT landscape (SAP), including business processes, portal solutions, and EDI integration.\nWorks with IT to assist in the ongoing continual improvements to systems and communicate the systems needs of Outside Processing.\nAnalyzes OSP workflows to identify automation and process-improvement opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, strengthen controls, and increase operational efficiency.\nPrepares and maintains project documentation, process maps, standard operating procedures, training materials, and post-implementation support plans for new or enhanced solutions.\nDefines how to more effectively use technology to drive out cost and increase the value that the Company can offer.\nCreates and maintains an environment that promotes positive communications within the department, as well as fostering teamwork with the External Processing department and the rest of the company.\nFulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.\nFulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment.\nDemonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect.\nEnsures working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001:2004, IATF 16949:2016, and ISO 9001:2015.\n\nEDUCATION & ACCREDITATION\n\n· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience\n\nKNOWLEDGE:\n\n· 1+ years of relevant steel processing / business systems experience\n\n· Knowledge of, and experience with, SAP including EDI\n\n· Proficient in MS office products.
