This is an opportunity to grow your technical expertise while working with a specialized platform and solving challenging problems involving signal and geospatial data.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain software components that enable users to process and display signal and geospatial data.\nDevelop solutions using Java and integrate with native C++ code to support mission requirements.\nAnalyze and resolve complex technical challenges through software design, development, and debugging.\nCreate and maintain automated tests using JUnit and the NeXtMidas macro language.\nMaintain and support test environments leveraging Jenkins, GitLab, and various map servers.\nParticipate in software configuration management and continuous integration activities.\nSupport application users by responding to technical questions and help requests.\nContribute across the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and end-user support.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong software development experience with Java or C/C++.\nSolid working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.\nExperience developing unit tests and creating standardized technical documentation.\nProficiency with development environments and build tools such as Eclipse and Gradle.\nExperience with source control management and continuous integration technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab.\nActive Security+ certification or the ability to obtain the certification within the first 3 months.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a mission-focused environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with NeXtMidas, X-Midas, and/or fundamental Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts.\nJava certification or equivalent demonstrated knowledge.\nExperience with C Shell and Bash scripting.\nBackground creating and managing Docker images and virtual machines (VMs).\nExperience developing with Python, and/or FORTRAN.\nFamiliarity with the SIGINT community or related mission environments.\nStrong background in mathematics and science.\nUnderstanding of geospatial concepts and data.\nExperience working with TLS and PKI certificates.\nFamiliarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka Streams, and Apache ActiveMQ.\n\nPosition Clearance Requirement:\n\n TS/SCI with CI Poly\n\nSalary and Benefits Information:\n\nThe salary range for this position is $95,499.00 to $134,755.00. The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
