This role is critical to ensuring smooth sample management throughout the development cycle and acts as a central liaison between design, merchandising, production, and our vendor partners. This position plays a key role in ensuring seamless sample management for Tuckernuck's Private Label Sport and Accessories collections. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nCore Responsibilities\nManage and track all samples for all shoots by coordinating with vendors, buyers, and the production team\nRequest samples, in accordance with stock timeline, from vendors for all content and studio shoots as well as manage the timely return of vendor samples\nIdentify sample payment needs through communication with the buying team and accounting department.\nPlace product orders from warehouse for studio shoots\nReceive all private label samples upon fit approval and communicate priorities based on delivery\nReceive samples for studio shoots and assist the Production Manager by dictating “Priority” samples\nOrganize office inventory post-shoot for all private label samples\nCoordinate and compile shipments from vendors and warehouse for all marketing campaigns\nProvide sample ETAs, special photography callouts, and any changes the studio/buyers may not be aware of\nCollaborate with all buyers to ensure all photography requests and concerns are communicated to the studio team\nAttend Production and Content meetings 1-2 times weekly to collaborate with creative teams on sample needs\nEnter garment care and material breakdown into NetSuite at time of sample receiving\nOwn and update internal powerpoint presentations in a timely manner with studio photos and stock week/month changes\nRun Office on hand inventory reports at the end of each month\nManage bulk Inventory Return from our photo studio at least twice a month\nTrack the product life cycle from start to finish beginning with the sample outreach to the upload of product\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n1-2 years of relevant experience\n\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities\nPassion for the Tuckernuck brand and interested in retail/ fashion\nObsessed with details and constantly double checking\nProblem-solver with a proactive nature\nFlexible and adaptable with willingness to support other departments\nOutstanding communication and organizational skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment\nEntrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn every single day\nEnergetic, kind, sincere, positive, and generally awesome\nAbility to build solid relationships with teammates and vendor partners\nProficient in Excel and ability to learn new software platforms quickly\nInterest in data analytics to drive decisions\n\nTuckernuck Core Values\nThe successful candidate will also demonstrate the following core values that inspire the Tuckernuck team to make a difference.\nTeamwork Makes the Dream Work\nFind the Fun\nStay Authentic\nRespect\nEntrepreneurial Spirit\nStart Strong & Finish Strong\nHave Courage\nTuckernuck is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
