The role focuses on managing occupational health and environmental programs across four nearby sites.\nResponsibilities Manage and continuously improve Federal, State, and Local EH&S compliance programs and risk reduction initiatives such as JHAs, qualitative risk assessments, incident reporting, and contractor oversight.\nOversee solid and hazardous waste management, wastewater, stormwater, and air emissions programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.\nPartner with site EH&S professionals to exceed core requirements and implement process‑focused improvements.\nPrepare and submit deliverable reports, support regulator interactions, and conduct EH&S inspections to maintain audit readiness.\nReview first‑aid and OSHA injury investigations, perform root cause analyses, develop corrective actions, and track completion.\nSupport the implementation of refrigerant and air‑management programs and sustainability initiatives.\nDevelop and deliver EH&S training for employees and contractors and update the site communications plan.\nAssist with emergency drills and participate in HazMat and medical emergency response.\nTravel locally by car weekly to support enterprise and business initiatives.\nQualifications Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of experience.\nTeam and project leadership experience.\nStrong knowledge of State and Federal environmental compliance rules (e.g., TCEQ, EPA, OSHA).\nAbility to plan, organize, delegate, and follow up on workflow in a fast‑paced environment.\nExperience with databases and information‑gathering systems.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills to influence engineers, line employees, and senior management.\nBenefits and Compensation Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
