Diesel Mechanic

Job Description Salary: $25-$35/hr DOEWHO WE ARE:Firematic is a family-owned business who has been serving those who protect us all for over 50 years!WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Diagnose, repair and maintain fire apparatus and emergency vehicles. Perform skilled work in maintaining automotive, medium and heavy-duty trucks, to include all Fire Division and Rescue (EMS) Division vehicles, including small gas engines and other associated equipment.RequirementsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Self-starter with positive can-do attitudeKnowledge of Diesel engines preferredValid class CDL B drivers license with Air Brakes or willingness to obtain within the first yearKnowledge of up-to-date methods of maintaining autos, trucks and emergency vehicles preferredASE and/or EVT certifications a plusThis is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30.Starting rate $20-35/hr depending on experience and certificationsWHAT WE OFFER:We offer extensive training in addition to our comprehensive benefit package including, medical, dental, vision, LTD, 401k, paid holidays, sick/personal and vacation time.Apply for this job
