Construction Manager (New Albany)

Job DescriptionWe're looking for a hands‐on leader with strong data center and low‐voltage experience. This role oversees field teams, safety, scheduling, and quality across large‐scale projects.Core ResponsibilitiesManage 5‐week look‐ahead schedules, labor forecasting, and daily progress trackingHandle change management, RFIs, and documentationLead safety oversight, compliance, and incident investigationsTrack goals, budgets, and project milestonesPerform ISP fiber audits; working knowledge of OTDRHire, train, and evaluate field techniciansAct as senior SME for low voltage, structured cabling, and fiber installations/auditsAdvanced Responsibilities (Senior-Level Scope)10+ years construction management; 5+ years in Data CentersStrong focus on safety and OSHA complianceKnowledge of:Cabling standards, labeling, documentationRack/stack, infrastructure layoutsQuality control, punch‐list resolution, and preventative maintenanceVendor and cross‐trade coordinationDirect on‐site oversight of rack/stack and cabling teamsCoordinate structured cabling installs, re‐routes, and clean‐upsMonitor workmanship, labeling accuracy, and pathway managementConduct daily walk‐throughs to identify hazards or inefficienciesSupport new build‐outs and expansions (containerized + fixed facilities)Perform on‐site auditsRequired Skills & ExperienceUnion experience not requiredExperience managing 60–100+ field techniciansData Center (new build or retrofit) experience strongly preferredProficient with MS Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, SPI/CPINice to HaveCabling & Network CertificationsOSHA CertificationDirect Placement Roles:Compensation:$110,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
