American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a working knowledge of thought disorders and the ability to serve as charge RN when needed.Job Details• Works in a Behavioral Health unit within a psychiatric hospital with 337 staffed beds,• Specialization in thought disorders within the behavioral health setting,• Day shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts (11:00-23:30),• Every other weekend required,• Floating required across any age population when scheduling needs arise,• No on-call responsibilities,• Charting is performed using Sunrise EMR,• Local candidates are accepted for this position,Job Requirements• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand,• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience,• Current BLS certification required,• Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration,• Fingerprinting must be completed in Maryland prior to start,Additional Information• RNs may be required to serve as charge nurse during a shift with no additional charge pay differential,• Navy blue scrubs required,• Free parking is available in employee lots throughout the campus,• A maximum of 1 pre-approved RTO request is permitted for this assignment,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
