All deliveries are short trips out and back ranging from just a few minutes out and back, to 6 hours round trip depending on the day. You will be responsible for loading and unloading your truck, proper DOT Tie down of totes and drums, maintaining driver logs, proper use of PPE, and pumping of chemicals to customers receptacles.\nDaily Responsiblities:\nComplete skid steer inspection, daily at the start of work, and end of each workday.\nVehicle and Trailer inspections are to be completed before and after every run.\nFilled out and completion all proper paperwork including BOL and SDS sheets prior to all deliveries.\nTruck/trailer is properly placarded for the product that is being delivered on all four sides.\nLoad the truck/trailer with the appropriate totes, drums, and IBCs for that days client.\nCheck the truck to make sure the appropriate PPE, tools, and equipment is loaded and accessible for the specific delivery type.\nEnsure all loads are properly secured for travel.\nUpon returning from the delivery, the driver will unload empty totes, drums, and IBCs, wash all equipment used for chemical delivery, wash out hoses, and prep vehicles for the following day.\nEnsure all equipment has been properly stowed, tools have been put in their designated place, and truck/trailer has been parked in designated spots at the end of your day.\nMaintain your timecard responsibly.\nOther Responsibilities are as follows:\nMaintain the yard and facilities for cleanliness, safety, and operational usage.\nOccasional facility preparation for inclement weather.\nCleaning, performing, and scheduling the maintenance for the vehicles and equipment.\nMonitor and report any safety issues.\nMonitor and report any inventory needs.\nWeekly checklist of facility cleaning and maintenance.\nRequirements:\nClean driving history\nCDL Class-A\nHazmat certification is a plus\nMust be able to pass a drug and background check upon hiring\nBasic computer skills, such as email and basic system entry\nExcellent communication skills with both the office and clients\nYou will be working alongside a small dedicated staff where quality and excellent customer service is highest priority! This position will be flexible in hours, and will vary day to day based on the needed deliveries and distance for each day traveled. Some days will be a single run, and some days may have 2 or 3 local short trips.
