Build your future with Project Solutions, Inc.\n\nPosition/Project Overview:\nProject Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Technical Inspector to support Air National Guard construction programs at Buckley Space Force Base in Colorado. This role will provide full-time, on-site inspection and construction oversight services for a range of Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects across multiple installations, including Buckley SFB, Greeley Air National Guard Station, Peterson Space Force Base, and Fort Carson. Key project activities include daily inspection and documentation of construction progress, monitoring contractor compliance with plans and specifications, identifying deficiencies and schedule impacts, supporting RFIs and change conditions, and producing detailed reports, while coordinating closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.\n\nThis role is contingent upon award of project.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nProvide technical assistance and support to CO during construction.\nRead, interpret and understand the construction contract plans and specifications.\nArrange, attend and facilitate a variety of meetings, including weekly meetings at the project site.\nDocument issues encountered and problems experienced with the construction contractor.\nReview contractor's baseline and progress schedules.\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports documenting progress, site conditions, manpower, and deficiencies\nMonitor contractor compliance with safety plans, quality control plans, and contract requirements\nTrack and document noncompliant work, schedule impacts, and critical path delays\nDraft project related correspondence for government review and issuance.\nUnderstand and document inspections during and post construction as well as mock-up inspections.\nInspect the work of the construction contractor for progress, workmanship, quality and conformance with contract documents, applicable building codes and safety standards.\nDeliver reports, reviews, evaluations, design work, etc. to CO.\nReview, analyze, and assist in preparing cost estimates.\nReview and process Construction Contractor's RFIs and assist in resolution, draft response, tracking, and follow up.\nRequired Education, Knowledge and Skills:\nEducation and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, and engineering.\nMinimum 5 years of practical experience in construction management, inspection, or oversight\nExperience with large construction projects (MILCON, SRM, or similar)\nMinimum of OSHA 30-hour construction safety training.\nKnowledge in construction practices including applicable building codes, applicable safety regulations, cost breakdown estimating and negotiating, and technical writing.\nOSHA 30 construction safety training preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret plans, schedules, and other specifications.\nWritten and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills\nKnowledge of software including MS Suite (including MS Project), Adobe Acrobat, Primavera (P6), AutoCad, BIM (to include Revit), and any other software programs typically utilized\nMaintain a valid driver's license.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.\nAbility to stand, stoop, kneel, bend, walk or climb daily to observe contract performance for prolonged periods of time.\nMust be able to physically operate a motor vehicle without danger to self or to others.\nWhat Does PSI Offer You?\nThree options for medical plans plus dental and vision insurance offerings\n24/7 healthcare access to telehealth services for your convenience\nHSA\nCompany life insurance options for you and your family\nShort-term and long-term disability offerings\nPLUS an $800 monthly allowance is provided to offset your PSI insurance premium costs\n401(k) with a 4% employer match\nGenerous PTO, paid-federal holidays, and sick leave\nAlways the opportunity for professional development\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
