Concession Supervisor

Concession ManagerProvide direction to 5-50 concession employees; oversee all facets of stand operations and implementation of company policies during an eventPosition ResponsibilitiesVerify inventories prior to an event in each stand in assigned areaComplete administrative paperworkAssist stand managers in solving any problemsEnsure each stand in assigned area complies with all company policies and procedures, safety, sanitation and liquor lawsEnsure customer service, proper inventory control, cash control, food production, set up, clean up and compliance of all company rules and policiesWork with stand managers to ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation and alcoholic beverage lawsEnsure state and local health requirements are met for food handlers and alcoholic beverage serversReports directly to Concessions Manager.Assists with opening, closing and employee check in duties.Equipment Used:Stoves/ovensCold and hot beverage equipmentWarmersCash registersKitchen utensils and small equipmentPretzel machinesGrillsComputersTwo way radiosSupervisory ResponsibilitiesProvides directions to a staff of 5-50 employees including but not limited to warehouse, stand workers, and bartenders.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredBasic working knowledge of Concession/Cafeteria OperationsBasic working knowledge of Cash Handling ProceduresMust be ServSafe CertifiedMust have Alcohol Training CertificationSkills and AbilitiesAbility to interact with customers and coworkers in order to assure compliance with company service standardsAbility to observe customers for determining whether service of alcohol is appropriate in light of local ABC lawsAbility to perform arithmetic operations involving all US monetary units (add, subtract, multiply, divide)Ability to work in a team environmentAbility to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends and holidays, as neededMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust have professional appearance and attitudeMust be at least 18 years oldPhysical DemandsMust be capable of reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing 10 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs up to 400 feet about 4 times per shift.Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00Note: The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above.
