Be a part of something special!\nResponsibilities:\nProvide software engineering, AutoCAD, and database support services across the full application and facility management lifecycle.\nDevelop, update, and maintain AutoCAD drawings and floor plans for facilities, labs, trailers, and office spaces, ensuring alignment with renovations, relocations, and space realignments.\nPerform operations and maintenance of applications, databases, and related COTS tools, including SQL Server, Oracle, AutoCAD, reporting tools, and directory services.\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain database-driven systems supporting security, facility management, office relocations, license tracking, and organizational changes.\nSupport employee in-processing and out-processing activities by updating AutoCAD drawings, databases, and directory/GAL information to ensure accurate personnel and space assignments.\nSupport all phases of software development and enhancement, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and release management.\nDesign, modify, and maintain VB.NET applications, custom reports, and Excel forms to support operational and management needs.\nGenerate technical and management reports, maintain database integrity, and provide end-user support and training as required.\nDeliver and maintain project management, quality management, communications, and disaster recovery documentation in support of application and facility-related systems.\nServe as a technical subject matter expert in AutoCAD integration, database administration, software modernization, and system enhancements.\nWhat You Need:\nStrong foundation in AutoCAD Designing, software engineering, database administration, and systems analysis.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, prepare technical documentation, and support reporting and audit needs.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nEligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.\nRequired Skills:\n5+ years of experience in full lifecycle software development and IT support\nProficiency in AutoCAD, VB.Net, Visual Basic, SQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle, and Crystal Reports.\nHands-on experience with system/database maintenance, upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.\nExpertise in database-driven applications, including security and facility management systems with CAD integration.\nDemonstrated ability in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.\nProven experience managing user account workflows and service request processes.\nFamiliarity with IT security, audit, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, Section 508, DR/COOP).\n.NET Experience, particularly with legacy console applications\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience supporting federal or enterprise-level IT environments.\nStrong background with reporting systems and automated data exports.\nKnowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Agile/iterative development methodologies.\nExposure to geospatial technologies such as ArcGIS and integration with enterprise databases.\nScripting skills for automation of reporting, license tracking, and account management.\nSAP knowledge\nControl-M Experience\n\nHalvik's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
