Lead Snowflake DBT Analytics Engineer - BraidedBoston, MA (Remote EST)No H1B and CPT, USC and GC highly preferred3 month contractVirtualSenior, lead level but hands-on.We're seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer (10+ years) who can lead hands on analytics engineering work and partner closely with the business.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable analytics data models and curated datasets using Snowflake and dbt Cloud (must be technically deep in both)Own complex SQL and dbt development (transformations, testing, documentation, performance optimization)Partner with business stakeholders, PMs, and analytics engineers to translate requirements into strong data modelsEstablish best practices for analytics engineering, data modeling, testing, and reusable patternsexperience with synch tools such as Fivetran for Real-Time ingestion.Deliver trusted, analytics ready data for reporting, self service BI, and AI use casesTroubleshoot data issues and drive data quality, consistency, and trustProvide technical leadership and guidance across analytics engineering workRequired ExperienceStrong hands on experience with analytics engineering, data modeling, advanced SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and GitHub10+ years of Data Engineering/Analytics experience.3+ years of Snowflake.Deep understanding of dimensional modelingStrong stakeholder communication, problem solving, and documentation skillsAbility to balance speed with scalable, well governed design
