Event Catering Servers, Server Leads, and On-Call Cooks Flower Catering LLC – Portland, OR Job Type Part-time | On-call | Seasonal Pay Servers: $22/hr Server Leads: $25/hr On-Call Cooks: $22/hr Job Summary Flower Catering LLC is a Portland-based, chef-driven catering company specializing in weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. We are hiring Event Catering Servers, Server Leads, and On-Call Cooks to support a growing event schedule. These roles focus on delivering professional hospitality service at a variety of events across the Portland area. This is a non-cash handling role. Team members are responsible for service execution and guest experience. Responsibilities Event Set-Up and Breakdown Set tables, polish glassware, and prepare event spaces Break down and reset event areas to venue standards Guest Service Greet guests and provide professional service Answer questions about menu items and accommodate dietary needs Food and Beverage Service Pass appetizers Support buffet and plated service Execute meal service according to timing and direction Team Coordination Work with kitchen and bar staff to maintain service flow Communicate updates and requests during service Table Maintenance Clear and reset tables Refill water and maintain cleanliness of service areas Health and Safety Follow Oregon food handling and sanitation guidelines Server Lead (Additional Responsibilities) Support coordination of service staff during events Communicate with kitchen and team members on timing and execution On-Call Cook Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and plating Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization Qualifications Experience in catering, banquet service, restaurant, or hospitality preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Oregon Food Handler Card or ability to obtain within 30 days Reliable and punctual Hiring Needs 5 Servers 5 Server Leads 5 On-Call Cooks How to Apply Apply at: flowercateringpnw.com/careers Equal Opportunity Employer Flower Catering LLC is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants of all backgrounds.
