**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our guests in a clean and efficient manner. **Responsibilities:** • Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to recipes and menu planning guidelines. • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to dietary department standards and protocols. • Assist in meal preparation and presentation, including plating and garnishing. • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless food service. • Provide support to the dietary aide team as needed. • Help with inventory management and ordering supplies. • Maintain high-quality food service, ensuring dishes meet menu planning standards. • Participate in kitchen maintenance and upkeep, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils. **Qualifications:** • Experience in the food industry, preferably in a kitchen or culinary role. • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail. • Familiarity with menu planning and dietary department guidelines. • Willingness to help with various tasks and support the team as needed. • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a focus on safety and efficiency. **Skills:** • Experience in food service and culinary roles. • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and dietary department standards. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Commitment to maintaining high-quality food service. • Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide roles. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
