As a Parts Warehouse Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of customers every day. We are looking for a coachable, energetic, people-focused individual to join the team.The Parts Warehouse Assistant ensures accurate and timely receipt of freight, accurately places incoming stock in the proper locations, and files packing slips in numerical order for the Parts Department.Manages order pulling for employees and clientsTakes a leading role in bin organization and parts stockingImmediately informs management of any stock outages or discrepanciesAssists with regular parts department inventories and selection of parts for returnsInitiates all paperwork relating to damages, shortages, and vendor returnsParticipates in perpetual countsMaintains department securityManages all shipping processes, including shipping of warranty parts back to factoryMaintains shipping supplies inventory; notifies Parts Manager of needed itemsMaintains separate warranty storage area organized by Repair Order (RO) sequenceInforms manager of any irregularities in parts available for return to factoryEnsures proper disposal of parts within factory, company, and environmental guidelinesCoordinates activities of contract delivery driversAssists with scheduling of deliveries including routing and special requestsTakes initiative to complete tasks through innovative thinkingPromptly notifies sales personnel and/or management of client issues, returns, or problems with drivers, and deliveries as necessaryMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for three or more hours at a timeHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be highly organized, computer savvy, and self-motivatedMust be at least eighteen years of ageMust have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirementsMust be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)Company Benefits:Pay and Recognition:Weekly payPaid holidays & paid time offPaid trainingStock Awards (select management and front-line team members eligible)Insurance / Retirement:Insurance: medical, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity plansUp to 12 weeks paid pregnancy leave (disability leave)Paid Parental LeaveHealth savingsFlex spending accounts (tax-free)Short-term and Long-term disability plansLife Insurance (Whole Life and Term)401k with company matchPet InsuranceLearning, Tuition Assistance and Career Development:Digital career path tool to assist with career developmentContinuous training through Asbury's Internal Learning Management SystemProfessional growth and development opportunities.
