Linux System Administration Support:\n3 years of system administration experience in a highly secure, Linux/Unix environment utilizing command line, monitoring tools, patching and scripting and excellent communications skills, oral and written.\nPreferred if you have AIX, Suse, and Windows administration and some Oracle/MySQL Database experience\nYou must be fluent in English\nYou must be team-oriented and self-motivated\nYou must have an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Linux/Unix.\nYou must have at least 3 years of system administrator experience and willing to work the second (4 PM to Midnight) or third (Midnight to 8AM) shift schedule.\nResponsibilities:\nLeverage command line activities as you monitor and resolve performance related issues of biometric products, software, and networks\nMonitor server/software error messages displayed on monitoring fault-detection terminal and take appropriate actions to restore services as needed\nPerform installations and patching to maintain key applications and operating systems\nDocument problems/issues in ticket tracking system\nReview and resolve tickets through the ticketing system, phone calls, and emails.\nCollaborate with other teams and provide client updates until issues are resolved\nLead troubleshooting call bridge to ensure the incident is documented from start to closure\nSupport deployment activities,including patching, upgrades, scripting etc.\nEnsure that your customers are satisfied throughout the process\nReview, update, and prepare shift logs for an efficient transition to new shift.\nEffectively multitask on a variety of complicated assignments\nWork second shift (4pm-12am) or third shift (12am-8am), includes weekends\nJob Type: Contract\nPay: $70,000.00 -
