Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing meals and ingredients for our fine dining restaurant. Responsibilities: - Prepare meals and ingredients according to menu plans and food safety guidelines. - Assist with food preparation, including chopping, dicing, and slicing ingredients. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. - Provide support to the kitchen team, including expediting and plating dishes. - Assist with meal planning, including creating menus and ordering ingredients. - Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet our high standards. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service. - Maintain a positive and helpful attitude, providing excellent customer service. - Keep up to date with current culinary trends and menu offerings. Qualifications: - Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in fine dining. - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. - Excellent knife skills and attention to detail. - Experience with menu planning and dietary requirements. - Familiarity with the food industry and its best practices. - Ability to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team. Skills: - Experience in food service and food preparation. - Knowledge of fine dining and menu planning. - Understanding of food safety guidelines and dietary requirements. - Proficiency in using knives and preparing meals. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. - Experience with meal planning and assisting with kitchen operations.
