In addition to leading accounts, VPs are critical leaders within the organization, mentoring teams, driving business growth, shaping agency culture, and ensuring operational excellence.What You'll Lead:Develop and lead the roll out of earned-first communications campaigns that position a global health and wellness brand at the center of culture, conversation, and innovationOversee media strategy across health, wellness, lifestyle, and consumer media landscapesDrive culturally relevant storytelling initiatives and partnerships, including collaborations with top Hispanic talent, creators, athletes, and cultural influencersHelp create health & wellness moments that generate earned media, social engagement, and consumer relevanceServe as a senior strategic advisor and day-to-day client lead, partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional agency teams while reporting into an EVPWhat We're Looking For:We are looking for a communications leader who understands how health, wellness, medicine, and culture intersect, and how brands can authentically show up in consumers' daily lives.Ideal candidates have experience working across health & wellness, consumer lifestyle, sports and entertainment brands.Key qualities include: Deep understanding of the evolving health & wellness landscape, including consumer health trends, preventative wellness, lifestyle medicine, and culturally relevant storytellingStrong media relationships across health, wellness, lifestyle, sports, entertainment, and business pressExperience leading celebrity, influencer, or talent partnershipsPassion for health & wellness-driven storytellingPassion for communicating to Hispanic audiencesExperience leading integrated communications programs across earned, influencer, social, and experiential channelsAbility to translate cultural insights and consumer behaviors into earned-first campaign platformsConfidence counseling senior-level clients and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environmentsExecutive presence with exceptional communication and presentation skillsKey Responsibilities: Oversee the development of award-winning earned media, influencer, and integrated communications strategies, activations, and tentpole campaignsLead strategic communications planning and present integrated ideas and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholdersEnsure the success of client programming, campaigns, partnerships, and activations while providing senior strategic counsel to internal and external teamsOversee day-to-day client business to ensure seamless execution, budget management, and client satisfaction across all projectsDevelop strategic communications plans grounded in insights, cultural relevance, audience behaviors, timelines, and budget considerationsReview and refine media materials including pitches, messaging documents, executive bios, thought leadership, case studies, and media strategiesIdentify emerging opportunities, cultural trends, and potential business challenges while proactively driving solutionsActively contribute to agency growth through new business development, RFP participation, strategic proposal development, and organic client expansionPartner with agency leadership to manage account profitability, resource allocation, and team operationsInspire, mentor, develop, and manage junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing cultureRequirements : 10+ years of experience in public relations, integrated communications, or brand marketing, preferably within an agency environmentExperience developing highly successful earned media and culturally driven communications strategiesStrong understanding of today's media ecosystem, stakeholder landscape, and influencer environmentProven expertise in client leadership, executive communications, and integrated campaign managementExceptional organizational, leadership, and project management skillsBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related fieldSpanish speaking a plusWhat Makes This Role Unique :This role sits at the intersection of health, wellness, culture, and storytelling - helping shape how a globally recognized brand connects with consumers through culturally relevant and earned-first communications.From partnerships and experiential moments to media storytelling and influencer engagement, you'll help define the next era of integrated health & wellness communications.Why BODEN:BODEN is an independent, award-winning agency known for building culturally fluent campaigns across sports, health & wellness, entertainment and lifestyle brands.As Adweek and PRWeek Agency of the Year, we believe the best work happens where diversity, culture, creativity, and community intersect.
