The role involves performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including metal stud framing, drywall and acoustical ceiling construction work. Responsibilities include the use of power and hand tools to measure, cut, assemble, and install materials. The Carpenter will be expected to follow safety guidelines, read and interpret blueprints or instructions, and work collaboratively with a team to meet project deadlines and standards.QualificationsProficiency in Carpentry, with experience in both metal stud framing, drywall and acoustical ceilingsSkilled in the use of Power Tools and Hand Tools for construction tasksKnowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety guidelinesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specificationsStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPrevious work experience in a similar role; union membership requiredReliable transportation to the job sites
