Utility Field Coordinator - Heavy Civil Infrastructure Project

Build Structure Into One of Central New York's Largest Infrastructure Projects Servidone Inc. is seeking a Utility Field Coordinator to support utility-related field operations on the CNY Alliance Six team delivering Phase 2, Contract 6 of the I-81 Viaduct Project in Syracuse, New York.This position is ideal for someone who understands how utility coordination impacts field productivity, sequencing, and schedule performance on active infrastructure work. The role combines field coordination, issue tracking, communication management, and operational follow-through across multiple stakeholders on a fast-moving heavy civil project.You will work directly with project leadership, field teams, subcontractors, engineers, and outside utility representatives to help utility-related activities stay organized, visible, and moving toward resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate field-related utility activities including relocations, conflicts, shutdown planning, access issues, and utility protection workSupport communication between project management, field operations, subcontractors, engineers, and utility ownersTrack utility-related open items, risks, pending decisions, and upcoming coordination needsMaintain utility logs, meeting notes, action items, correspondence, and follow-up documentationAssist with planning and sequencing utility-related field activities to reduce disruption to construction operationsIdentify missing information or unresolved issues before they impact production or scheduleHelp maintain visibility into utility relocation status and ongoing coordination effortsParticipate in coordination meetings and support field issue resolution effortsWhat Success Looks LikeWithin the first year, successful performance in this role will include:Creating reliable utility tracking and follow-up processesImproving visibility into utility conflicts and relocation progressHelping reduce avoidable schedule impacts tied to utility coordinationBecoming a dependable field resource for utility communication and documentationSupporting smoother execution across active construction operationsQualificationsQualified candidates will typically have experience in one or more of the following areas:Utility coordinationConstruction field coordinationProject engineeringHeavy civil operationsInfrastructure project supportAdditional Qualifications IncludeUnderstanding of utility relocations, field conflicts, shutdown coordination, and stakeholder communicationAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environmentStrong organizational and documentation skillsEffective communication skills across field and office teamsPractical problem-solving ability and proactive follow-throughMicrosoft Office proficiencyPreferred ExperienceHeavy civil, highway, bridge, transportation, or infrastructure constructionUtility relocation support on active construction projectsCoordination logs, field reporting, or construction tracking systemsUtility conflict resolution and stakeholder coordinationCompensation & Benefits$95,000 - $125,000 annual salaryHealth insuranceDental insurance401(k)Bonus opportunityCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time, field-based position located on the I-81 Viaduct Project in Syracuse, New York.
