As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at Strive Pharmacy, you'll be at the core of preparing and compounding custom prescriptions, both hazardous and non-hazardous, upholding the highest standards of quality control and compliance with our SOPs.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWorking to fulfill KPIs in processing prescriptions\nAccurately process new and refill prescription orders, ensuring thorough review before submission.\nCollaborate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or unclear information, including prescription details and patient or provider demographics.\nConfirm the accuracy and completeness of patient, prescriber, and medication data.\nIdentify and correct data discrepancies proactively to maintain order integrity.\nCoordinate with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to maintain an efficient and seamless workflow.\nMaintain strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines to safeguard patient information.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies, governing prescription processing.\nApply the highest level of technical attention to detail\nGrow with us through three distinct performance levels, each with its own set of challenges and rewards:\nBeginner: Process 50 to 100 prescriptions per day, laying the foundation for your career in pharmaceutical care.\nIntermediate: Handle 100 to 175 prescriptions per day, honing your skills and contributing to our collective success.\nAdvanced: Exceed 175 prescriptions per day, leading the way in efficiency and quality, setting new standards in the industry.\nRequired Qualifications:\nCertified and licensed pharmacy technician and PTCB\nCompounding experience is preferred but not required (onsite training will be provided)\n1+ years in a pharmacy data entry position (retail/community/mail-order)\nAbility to work Saturday's if needed\nPrevious experience in a data entry position in a pharmacy setting\nProficient computer ability\nStrong attention to detail\nCustomer service background\nProfessionalism with customers\nWork Environment\nRegularly stand to communicate and engage with patients and colleagues.\nFrequently use your hands for handling documentation, accessing information, and ensuring smooth operations.\nOccasionally stand and walk within the facility.\nCapable of lifting and moving items, even up to 50 pounds.\nWork predominantly indoors in a collaborative setting with peers and pharmacists.\nBenefits/ Perks\nStrive Pharmacy provides a comprehensive benefits package that encompasses various perks such as employer paid healthcare coverage available after 30 days of employment, the choice of an FSA/HSA, a voucher for new hire scrubs (if applicable), parental leave, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, and the benefit of weekends and holidays off.
