This role will act as the critical bridge between our US-based product and engineering teams and our Japanese clients and partners, ensuring seamless communication, technical execution, and client satisfaction.\nThe successful candidate will support sales efforts by providing technical expertise in client discussions, oversee project delivery and integration post-sale, and establish strong, real-time technical and operational support locally in Japan.\n\nResponsibilities\nPre‑Sales Support\nPartner with sales and product teams to support presale discussions with Japanese financial institutions regarding Broadridge’s US Proxy offerings.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions aligned with Broadridge’s product capabilities.\nConduct technical demonstrations and clarify system functionality for clients and third-party partners.\nContribute to responses for RFPs/RFIs from both technical and operational perspectives.\nExplain and validate client integration approaches involving batch, streams, and real-time API-based integrations (RESTful APIs).\nImplementation and Delivery\nServe as subject matter expert in Japan for all technical aspects of the US Proxy project implementation.\nManage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to client expectations and Broadridge quality standards.\nCoordinate between Japanese clients, internal US/UK technical teams, and third-party service providers to address dependencies and resolve issues efficiently.\nOversee configuration, system integration, data flows, and testing of proxy-related functionality (e.g., account setup, data exchange, custody chain processes).\nSupport and oversee implementation of real-time system integrations using RESTful APIs, ensuring proper API security (OAuth/JWT).\nPost‑Implementation and Ongoing Support\nProvide real‑time technical support and issue resolution during Japan business hours, reducing dependency on offshore time zones.\nManage escalation processes and ensure resolution of functionality defects or “chain of custody” reconciliation issues.\nDevelop documentation, technical runbooks, and local support playbooks for sustainable operations.\nAdvocate for client interests in internal product meetings, feeding back enhancements required for the Japan market.\nYour Profile\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.\nExperience: 7+ years in IT project management, business analysis, or systems integration within financial services or fintech.\nDemonstrated experience managing cross-border technology projects, ideally involving proxy voting, shareholder communications, or custody processing systems.\nExperience with configuration, system integration, data flows, and platform functionality\nExperience with real-time systems integration using RESTful APIs, including understanding of API security mechanisms leveraging OAuth and JWT.\nExperience using API development/testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger/OpenAPI or similar tools to validate integrations and troubleshoot issues\nProven ability to manage complex client relationships across multiple time zones and cultural environments.\nStrong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and coordinate solutions to technical or operational issues.\nBilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal communication required.\nKey Competences\nStrong stakeholder management and diplomatic communication skills.\nTechnically fluent — comfortable engaging both engineers and non-technical client stakeholders.\nWorking knowledge of modern API ecosystems, real-time integration patterns, and related integration tooling.\nHighly organized and able to operate independently while liaising across global teams.\nCollaborative mindset with sensitivity to cultural and organizational contexts.\nClient‑centric work ethic with a focus on service reliability and transparency.\n#LI-KA2\n#LI-Hybrid\nWe are dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment and are committed to providing a workplace that empowers associates to be authentic and bring their best to work.
