This role focuses heavily on Microsoft Hyper-V, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), SCVMM, and HPE compute infrastructure (ProLiant Rack and Blade systems).The engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, optimizing, and standardizing Windows Server-based virtualization and compute platforms, while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational best practices across the environment.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESArchitect, engineer, and implement Windows Server 2025 environmentsDesign, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platformsImplement Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) architectures for hyper-converged infrastructureAdminister and engineer Microsoft SCVMM environmentsDesign and support Windows clustering and high availability solutionsDevelop server build standards aligned with application and workload requirementsDeploy and manage HPE ProLiant Rack and Blade server environmentsConfigure, troubleshoot, and maintain HPE iLO management systemsAdminister HPE OneView (server profiles, networking, and storage configurations)Conduct infrastructure assessments and provide documentation and knowledge transferEstablish and enforce infrastructure best practices and operational standardsProvide daily status reporting including accomplishments, blockers, and next stepsGather and translate technical and business requirements from client stakeholdersREQUIRED SKILLS7+ years enterprise server infrastructure engineering experience5+ years Microsoft Hyper-V engineering experienceStrong expertise in Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2025 preferred)Hands-on experience with Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)Strong SCVMM administration and engineering experienceExperience with Windows Failover Clustering and HA solutionsHands-on experience with HPE ProLiant Rack and Blade systemsProficiency with HPE OneView (server profiles, networking, storage)Strong experience with HPE iLO configuration and troubleshootingExcellent communication skills (oral, written, and stakeholder engagement)Ability to work independently and take direction from client stakeholdersStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skillsAbility to document work, status updates, and technical deliverables clearlyWhy Averro?Averro is committed to building long-term relationships based on trust, transparency, and results.
