This role collaborates with project owners, subcontractors, operators, construction employees and internal teams to support project development, execution, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations. Up to 25% travel within the United States is required.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage engineering activities for new and existing anaerobic digester and RNG projects across the United States.\n\nProvide technical oversight, troubleshooting, and process analysis to improve system performance, operations, and maintenance.\n\nSupport equipment selection, project estimating, scope development, budgeting, and project planning activities.\n\nReview vendor quotes, equipment specifications, and engineering deliverables to ensure proper design, sizing, and project compatibility.\n\nIdentify and resolve gaps related to equipment, controls, materials, and third-party engineering deliverables.\n\nProvide design guidance and technical documentation for OEM equipment and project systems.\n\nDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and project records.\n\nCoordinate and manage third-party engineering services to support successful project execution.\n\nCollaborate with Project Managers and field teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.\n\nCommunicate regularly with project owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and progress.\n\nMaintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, licensing requirements, and applicable regulations.\n\nSupport customer relationships through professional communication and responsive technical support.\n\nTravel to project sites nationwide to provide project development assistance, technical oversight, and field support.\n\nPromote a collaborative, professional, and team-oriented work environment while supporting operational and project goals.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software, including AutoCAD and Plant 3D.\n\nKnowledge of mechanical and process calculations, including pipe flow, heating/cooling, and heat/material balances.\n\nStrong project management and vendor coordination experience.\n\nKnowledge of anaerobic digestion, biogas, and RNG systems.\n\nAbility to identify cost‑saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.\n\nProfessional, collaborative, and customer‑focused approach.\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental preferred).\n\nActive Professional Engineer (PE) license.\n\n5+ years of experience with anaerobic digestion and RNG systems.\n\nDairy industry experience preferred.\n\nValid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.\n\nAbility to pass a drug test.\n\nWorking Conditions\n\nPrimarily office‑based with travel to project sites.\n\nSite visits may involve outdoor work, ladders, and stairs in varying weather conditions.\n\nReliable high‑speed internet required.\n\nLocation\nRemote within California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employment\nRegenis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes different perspectives.
