Works with the Program Director to improve the organization's capacity to serve, manage, and deliver experienced worker employment programs.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAssists in managing all aspects of the program operations and activities. Serves as secondary point of contact for the program(s). Provides oversight, support, and guidance to Recruiters/Program Specialists.\nProvides input to program materials such as handbook, resource materials, web pages, etc.; develops training opportunities for program personnel. Provides support and improvements to the program website.\nProvides ongoing support, guidance, and assistance to Coordinators, Monitors, Grants/Agreements Staff, and Budget Specialists.\nWorks closely with the Coordinators to promote and grow the program.\nCreates and maintains consistent communication with current clients and program leaders (e.g. monthly newsletters).\nConducts periodic outreach visits with staff involved with the program to promote the program and build relationships.\nConducts educational sessions for stakeholders.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nOperational experience with non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors desired, with preference for demonstrated ability to implement and manage government grant programs.\nDemonstrated ability to serve on and lead successful business and/or program teams.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and use program support systems and tools.\nDemonstrated success as collaborator and problem solver.\nWritten and verbal communication skills.\nExperience handling multiple priorities effectively.\nProject and people management skills.\nExperience with HR and/or workforce planning and projects preferred.\nThe requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor's Degree\n8 - 11 Years\nEducation and experience requirements may be substituted on a year-for-year basis by relevant, demonstrated, progressive, and directly-related education/work experience.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nPhysical requirements include the dexterity to reach, stand, climb, move, finger keyboards, lift light loads, and the ability to also function in a stationary position.
