Cleaning Technician – Carpet, Upholstery & VCT Floors Location: Lexington, SC 29072 Job Type: Full-time | In-Person Join Our Team! We’re seeking a dependable and motivated Cleaning Technician to join our professional cleaning and restoration team. In this role, you’ll work alongside our Crew Chief to deliver top-quality carpet, upholstery, and VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) floor cleaning services for our residential and commercial clients. We take pride in helping people feel good about their spaces — and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, too. What You’ll Do Assist the Crew Chief in performing a wide range of cleaning services with professionalism and attention to detail. Set up vehicles and equipment at job sites following proper company procedures. Safely move furniture and prepare homes or offices for cleaning. Perform carpet, upholstery, and VCT floor cleaning, stripping, and waxing to professional standards. Apply protectants, deodorizers, and finishing products as needed. Rake carpets and account for all cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment. Communicate effectively with customers about services performed and additional product options. Help maintain company vehicles, equipment, and a clean workspace daily. Participate in rotating weekend on-call duties (approximately once per month). Learn and assist with water restoration projects to expand your skill set and career potential. What We’re Looking For Valid South Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a mobile phone. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Professional appearance and strong customer service skills. Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work. Physically able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and 100 lbs. with assistance. Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces. Prior experience in carpet, upholstery, or any type of floor cleaning. Bonus Points For IICRC certifications (or willingness to obtain).
