The Program Manager will play a crucial role in the management and execution of assigned projects working with both internal and external customers in addition to cross-function technical and business resources. The Program Manager will develop the defined deliverables and ensure the effective execution of each project through proactive management of teams, customers, projects plans, and deliverables.\n\n**This is not a remote opportunity. This position is based in Lenexa, KS. Local candidates only. We do not offer relocation assistance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage medical device design and manufacturing projects with budgets of $1M to $15M and durations of 6-24 months.\nSuccessfully lead multidisciplinary project teams of up to 5 engineers and support staff.\nOwn end-to-end planning, management, status reporting, and tactical execution of assigned projects to ensure timely delivery.\nEstablish project priorities and lead cross-functional teams during project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.\nPerform risk assessment and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.\nManage daily activity of assigned project team members to ensure engagement, collaboration, and adherence to deliverables, budget estimates, and schedule.\nClearly communicate expectations and performance feedback with team members.\nRegularly engage and communicate with clients to ensure an alignment of project status, scope, and expectations.\nManage contract scope changes with rigor, ensuring profitability.\nBuild strong client relationships that enable project success.\nContribute to the ongoing improvement of processes, principles, and concepts utilized in the project management department.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s or master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field\n5-10+ years’ experience as a project team leader working with a diverse range of skill sets.\nUnderstanding of trade-offs (i.e. budget versus technical requirements).\nExperience in technical writing for system requirements, design documents, and test reports.\nMicrosoft Project experience or related platform(s) required.\nPrevious experience managing design and/or manufacturing projects for medical devices or other highly regulated industry.\nExpertise in design of electro-mechanical systems controlled by software.\nTop Benefits/Perks:\nAs a team member at Vantage MedTech, you’ll enjoy:\nComprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.\nGenerous Paid Time Off.\nCompany retirement plan with matching.\nVantage MedTech values a diverse team and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
