Job Description
Required:Active Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institutionActive pharmacist license in the State of Kansas; Missouri pharmacist licensure stronglypreferred5+ years of pharmacy operations management or supervisory experienceDemonstrated experience managing prescription workflow, staffing models, andoperational performance in a high-throughput pharmacy environmentWorking knowledge of USP and general familiarity with USP andExperience developing and maintaining SOPs, policies, and compliance documentationExperience managing DEA-regulated controlled substance operationsAbility to commute to / relocate to Lenexa, KS 66215Strongly Preferred:Experience in a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy environmentFamiliarity with GLP-1, HRT, and functional medicine compounding operationsExperience with FDA inspection readiness and cGMP expectations in compoundingpharmaciesExperience in a high-growth pharmacy environmentSterile compounding certification (e.g., BCSCP) or willingness to pursueLean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement certificationKey Attributes:Compliance-forward — defaults to regulatory adherence in all decision-makingOperationally driven — thrives on building and optimizing systems, workflows, andteams• Self-starter — does not require constant direction; proactively identifies and solvesproblemsQuick learner — willing and able to develop compounding-specific knowledge rapidlyAccountable — owns outcomes, escalates appropriately, does not deflectPositive energy — leads by example with a solution-oriented, team-first approachProcess builder — creates structure where none exists; documents as standard practiceWork Location & Logistics:Full-time on-site position — Lenexa, KS 66215Day shift; support for potential staggered and/or weekend shifts as operational needs requireMust be local prior to starting work (within a one-hour daily commute to Lenexa, KS 66215)Company Description Midwest Compounders Pharmacy (MWC) is a growing 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and functional medicine.
