Job Summary Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services, OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards. Responsibilities Assist in surgical procedures by ensuring all needed instruments and supplies are sterile and available. Maintain a sterile field during surgery and ensure the surgeon's needs are met efficiently. Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment and sterile surgical attire. Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Handle surgical specimens following proper protocols for confirmation and laboratory processes. Adhere to safety standards and procedures, including fire safety and radiation safety. Qualifications 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Tech in an acute care hospital. Current BLS certification and NBSTSA certification preferred. Experience with Charting System: Epic or equivalent systems. Proficiency in universal surgical protocols and aseptic techniques. Competence in handling surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile field. California state license in hand is required; local applicants accepted.
