This role partners cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to implement scalable systems, optimize material flow, and support production readiness.Process Development & StandardizationDevelop, document, and maintain standard work, work instructions, and process flowsDesign and optimize assembly processes, line layouts, and workstation configurationsDefine requirements for tooling, fixtures, and equipmentSupport new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activitiesContinuous ImprovementApply Lean Manufacturing and Toyota Production System principles to eliminate waste and improve flowLead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actionsImprove cycle time, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)Drive A3 problem-solving initiativesMaterial Flow & ERP IntegrationDesign and implement material replenishment strategies (kitting, kanban, line-side stock)Optimize warehouse-to-line material flow and replenishment triggersEnsure alignment between physical processes and ERP transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralProduction SupportProvide daily support to production operations to resolve process inefficiencies, downtime, and quality issuesParticipate in Tier meetings and Gemba walksSupport implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Testing & ValidationDefine and support functional and burn-in testing processesEnsure processes and equipment meet performance, reliability, and safety standardsLayout & Capacity PlanningDevelop and maintain facility and production layouts (e.g., Visio or CAD-based)Perform capacity analysis, line balancing, and bottleneck identificationSupport capital projects, including cost justification (ROI, IRR, Payback)Quality & ComplianceEnsure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality standardsDevelop and maintain controlled documentationSupport internal and external auditsSafety & ErgonomicsConduct risk assessments and Management of Change (MOC) activitiesApply OSHA hierarchy of controls to mitigate riskImprove workplace ergonomics and reduce manual handling hazardsRequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in:Manufacturing EngineeringIndustrial EngineeringMechanical EngineeringOr related fieldExperience2–7+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or related fieldExperience in assembly, production environments, and process improvement initiativesExperience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar)Technical SkillsProcess mapping and workflow developmentTime studies and line balancingRoot cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone)Layout design (Visio, AutoCAD, or similar)Data analysis (Excel; Power BI preferred)Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsProblem-solving and analytical thinkingAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHands-on, team-oriented mindset with strong shop-floor presenceLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationExperience in ISO-regulated environmentsExperience with automation, controls, or testing systemsThroughput and cycle time improvementBottleneck utilizationFirst-pass yield (FPY)Ergonomic risk reductionCAPEX ROI achievementOn-time completion of projectsCombination of shop floor and office environmentFrequent interaction with production personnel and cross-functional teamsRequires standing, walking, and occasional lifting in a manufacturing settingWhy Join Us?
